It comes with great sadness that we announce the death of Chanel. The world’s oldest dog.

Chanel passed away at her owners' home in Port Jefferson Station on Long Island, New York – she was aged 147 (in dog years that is). Famed for her love of all things nutty, she is survived by her owners Denice and Karl.

The funeral will be a family only affair, but a wake will be held at the Manhattan Dog Hotel & Spa for those wishing to pay their respects. All donations will be donated to the charity ‘Cats in Need’.
