Isla was a much-loved red panda at Galloway Wildlife Conservation Park in Scotland. Always the joker of the pack she was the life and soul of the Panda Pit, however, last February in the wake of a freak accident involving a cage, a tree and a whole lot of wind she disappeared. Many believed that the circumstances leading up to her disappearance was the handy work of our very own Sinband the Super Sloth who orchestrated the accident as a decoy for Isla to escape, with the plan being for them to elope to Gretna Green. Others, who blamed the rather large amount of paranormal activity in the Galloway area as the true cause of her disappearance, may be unable to come to terms with the fact that the 'Peoples panda' might really just be a two-bit slag with a penchant for Sloths.

Unfortunately any hope of finding Isla safe and well came to a sad conclusion this weekend when her battered body was found by the roadside with fatal head injuries from which she later died. John Denerly, the conservation manager at Galloway Wildlife Park said that he is “devastatingly upset over her death."

It is unclear at the moment if Sinbad was involved in her death, but word in the Panda Pit is that he did play a part in her disappearance and subsequent death - West Lothian Police are treating her death as suspicious!

A minute’s applause will be held at every Panda Power League match this weekend.

Isla is survived by no one!
